Pro

If your venue has named suites, boxes, or seating areas, guests can pick theirs while ordering instead of you sorting it out afterward from a free-text field.

Pro feature

Spaces are gated the same way as Arena listings, both need a Pro subscription.

Your spaces library

Spaces live in one shared library per workspace, so the same "Suite 101" can be reused across several calculators instead of recreated each time.

  • On the Events page, open the utilities menu and choose Venues.
  • Click Add space.
  • Fill in the name customers see (e.g. "Aitio 101"), the Seats count, and optionally a Number.
  • Save.
Deleting a space here removes it from every calculator it's assigned to, CaterWay asks you to confirm first.

Assigning spaces to a calculator

The library alone doesn't put spaces in front of customers, you assign them per calculator:

  • Open the calculator in the builder and go to the Spaces tab.
  • Turn the section on with the switch.
  • Click Add Space to create one just for this calculator, or Import Space to pull one in from your library.
A space imported from the library is shared: editing its name or capacity here updates it everywhere else it's assigned too, CaterWay shows a note ("This space is sharedโ€ฆ") when you edit one.

What guests see

On the calculator, guests choose their space alongside the rest of their order, capacity shown next to each name so a party of 20 doesn't pick a 6-seat suite by mistake.
