An ice hockey game on Saturday, a conference in your function room next month, a Friday jazz night, an arena event puts that specific occasion in front of customers so they can order catering straight into it, without you sending them a link one by one.

How it's different from a regular calculator
A regular calculator is always open, anyone with the link can request a quote for any date. An arena event is tied to one occasion:

Creating one
- Go to Events and open the New menu.
- Choose New arena event.
- Fill in the name and date, a subtitle and image, then decide whether to connect it to a calculator right away, you can always do that later.
Where your arena events live
Active arena events show up in the Arena events section on your Events page ("Arena events are games and concerts your customer picks in the calculator"), and as orange chips on the events calendar. Past ones move into an archived list once you toggle Archived on.
One event, several calculators, each with its own cutoff
The same arena event can sell from more than one calculator, a general ticket calculator and a private-box calculator for the same match, say. Add it to another calculator from either side: assign it from the arena event itself, or open the calculator builder's Arena Events tab and use Import arena event. That picker lists every upcoming event you have not already added, lets you tick several at once so a whole season goes in with one click, and shares the event into the calculator rather than copying it: edit the date, the image, or anything else once, and every calculator carrying it updates together.
Because the same event can sit on several calculators, it can close at a different time in each. Ordering cutoff, at the top of the calculator's Arena Events tab, now works two ways: Before the event starts (a number of minutes, hours or days) or At a clock time, for example 2 days before the event, at 12:00. Open the event's own edit sheet from the Events page, and the Shown in calculators list states, calculator by calculator, exactly when ordering closes for that one, the only place both deadlines show side by side when two calculators sell the same game.

Not the same as the showcase page
An arena event is one event inside one calculator: a fixed date customers order into. The showcase page works in the other direction: it is one public page that presents all your calculators at once, so a new client can pick the right one. Use arena events for your event dates, and the showcase page as the single link you share everywhere.
