The hero is a large photo at the top of your calculator page with your headline laid over it — the look of a modern catering front page. Your customer sees it the moment they arrive, on the first step only, so it never gets in the way once they're choosing food.
Open your calculator's Design tab and find Hero image:
- Photo: pick one from your media library or paste an image address. A wide photo of your food or venue works best.
- Headline and Text: written per language, so each enabled language shows its own. Use the flag tabs to switch.
- Text style: Dark fade (white text over a dark gradient), Light fade (dark text over a light gradient), or Color band (a solid block in your brand color). The fade is always there so the text stays readable on any photo — there is deliberately no transparency slider to fiddle with.
- Height: Compact or Tall.
- Order button: an optional button under the headline that scrolls straight to the menu. You can change its label.
Pro feature
The hero image is a Pro feature. Page navigation and colors are free on every plan.
Where it shows
The hero appears on the public calculator page and in its previews. It is never shown inside website embeds — your own site already has its own header, and the calculator should drop straight into it.
If the Before you publish box under the preview says the hero has no photo or headline, that's your reminder to finish it before sharing the link.
