Ending your Pro trial early

A Pro trial costs nothing and does not turn into a charge on its own, so there is usually no rush to do anything. But if you have decided Free is enough for now, you can switch over early rather than waiting for the trial to lapse.

How to end the trial

• Log in to Caterway.
• Open Settings and then Subscription & Billing.
• Under your current plan you will see End trial now. Click it.
• Read the summary, it reminds you that you give up the days still left, and confirm with End trial and switch to Free.

Your account moves to Free straight away. You were not charged during the trial, and you will not be for ending it.

One thing worth knowing first

The free trial is a one-time thing. If you end it now and decide to go Pro again later, that upgrade starts as a paid subscription, there is no second trial. So there is rarely a reason to end it early rather than simply letting it run its course.

If you are already on paid Pro

Once your subscription is paid rather than a trial, the button reads Downgrade to Free instead. It works the same way: nothing is deleted, your account keeps every Pro feature until the paid period ends, then returns to Free. On Free, only your oldest published calculator stays live and any custom URL is released, but all your data is kept.
