GloriaFood shuts down on April 30, 2027. Here is what to do about the catering side of your business.

What Oracle announced

Oracle completed its acquisition of GloriaFood on June 25, 2021. In March 2026 it published an end-of-life FAQ. It says Oracle will "End-Of-Life ("EOL") all Oracle GloriaFood products and services and its partner program effective April 30, 2027".

The shutdown covers the Online Ordering eStore, in both its freemium and paid versions, the POS eStore service and hardware, and Oracle Payment eStore.

Oracle no longer signs new direct agreements with restaurants. Until the end date, a new restaurant can join only through a GloriaFood partner. Oracle accepts renewals only up to one month before the end date.

After services end, customers may retrieve their data for 30 days. The FAQ does not describe a migration tool, and it says "Oracle cannot recommend specific third-party providers." So the choice of what comes next is yours.

What to do with the time you have left

1. Export your menus and customer data now

Oracle gives you 30 days after services end to retrieve your data. Don't wait for that window. Log into GloriaFood, check the export options it offers today for your menu items, categories and customer list, and save copies yourself.

2. Check your renewal date

Oracle accepts renewals only up to one month before April 30, 2027. Check when your current term ends and plan your move around it.

3. Rebuild your catering menu without retyping it

Who this fits, and who it doesn't

A reasonable fit

• You quote for parties, weddings or private dining.
• You cater corporate lunches, buffets or offices.
• You need a per-guest price, not a per-item cart.
• You want quotes tracked, signed and on a calendar.

Not the right tool

CaterWay does not handle everyday à la carte delivery and pickup ordering, and it is not a POS or an in-store checkout.

Plenty of businesses run both: a delivery-ordering platform for daily orders and a separate quoting tool for catering and events. That split is normal. Moving your catering enquiries to a dedicated tool while you find a delivery replacement elsewhere is a reasonable way to divide the work.
